The family is so important in Pride and Prejudice that you don’t have to care about the movie or characters, you have to love the Bennets.
Mr Bennet – Donald Sutherland
It turns out that Elizabeth Bennet - Keira Knightley is the most extraordinary actress that he ever met. It is indescribable how interiorly beautiful Rosamund was. Talulah &Kery were like children, Jena becoming a silly child, too. Hatred,embraced, supportive and catalyzed by Brenda, it has been such a wonderful family.
Mrs Bennet – Brenda Blethyn
She whines people up being funny brilliant to telling stories.
Mrs Bennet is a lovely mommy to have, loving every minute of this film.
The Bennet sisters wouldn’t have been the girls that they were if they didn’t have a mother like Mrs Bennet.
In the house it has all been so idyllic that she wanted all to really happen. It has been the little family – the Bennets and the bigger one – the whole crew.It is all such an interesting mix of people
Special moments
Everything you do, has special vibration, but this one has special atmosphere around it.
With all those girls, it was difficult for Mr Collins – Tom Hollander to decide on which one to focus on, but those were the happiest days of his life.
It has been lovely having had such a girly family, with Brenda & Donald in the middle of it.
For Mr Darcy it was great sitting at the dinner table with Lady Catherine de Bourg – Judi Drench.
It was Heaven!
